About
Students in the Bachelor of Information Technology and Management/Master of Cyber Forensics and Security accelerated master's degree program may simultaneously earn both degrees while learning both the intricacies of information technology and the issues surrounding cyber forensics and security.
The bachelors degree program in information technology and management is taught by experienced faculty using a hands-on, reality-based approach to education in which students apply what they learn in class to solve real-life problems. It offers seven specializations that target specific careers, and has more than 100 courses that provide unparalleled breadth and depth. The master's degree program in cyber forensics and security is cross-disciplinary and includes instruction on technology, management, compliance, and legal issues.

Requirements
Entry Requirements
Students in this program must be admitted to Illinois Tech. Students who are interested in transferring to this program should consult their academic advisers. Previous coursework or experience in technology is helpful but not required.
English Program Requirements
International students who fit into any of the following categories will be considered to have met the requirement:
- Residents of a country where English is the only official language and who is a native English speaker
- Graduates of U.S. high schools
- Completed the equivalent of Iowa State’s English 150 or 250 with a grade of B or better at an accredited U.S. 2 year or 4 year college or university.
CONDITIONAL ADMISSION
If you meet all admission requirements but do not meet our English proficiency requirements, Iowa State offers conditional admission to attend our Intensive English and Orientation Program (IEOP). If you would like to enroll in IEOP, on the application choose "I would like to enroll in Iowa State’s IEOP program before I begin the academic study.”
