    Pathway students enrol on the undergraduate BA (Hons) International Tourism and Events Management degree at Glasgow Caledonian University. In the first two years, they study an HND Events or HND Travel and Tourism at City of Glasgow College while preparing for year three and four (for Honours) of the degree at GCU.

    BA (Hons) International Tourism and Events Management graduates enjoy excellent career prospects around the world bringing tourism initiatives and international events to life.

    Choose the international tourism and events management college pathway if:

    • you are interested in how tourism initiatives and events are managed
    • you want to work in a diverse, global setting as part of a growing industry
    • you enjoy learning in a hands-on practical way you work best with lots of interaction from lecturing staff
    • you like working towards clear goals with a sense of achievement at the end of each year of study.
    Study an HND at college for two years and progress to year 3 of this degree. You can become an international tourism or events manager by studying the creation, management and delivery of successful events and tourism initiatives at degree level.

    Students who have sat a secondary school qualification in Saudi Arabia are not generally able to join an undergraduate programme at the University and would be required to undertake a foundation programme before joining one of our undergraduate programmes at GCU.     The next intake is September 2022. All applications for undergraduate course should be made online through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service).
