    Loughborough's School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering students had the chance to visit Loughborough's first Passivhaus development on campus and hear from industry experts in charge of the project.

    For Saudi Arabia, the GPA requirements are: First-class honours (70%) requires 3.5, Upper second-class honours (60%) requires 3.0, Lower second-class honours (50%) requires 2.8.\nFor Jordan, the GPA requirements are: First-class honours (70%) requires 3.5, Upper second-class honours (60%) requires 3 or 3.5/5 or 75%, Lower second-class honours (50%) requires 2.5 (or 3.0/5) / 63%.

    English Program Requirements

    • The standard University IELTS English language requirement is 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each individual element (reading, writing, listening and speaking).

    The programme is designed to develop specialist expertise in building services engineering and building performance with a focus on energy and related areas.

    Various firms in the industry, such as Pick Everard, Hilson Moran, Cundall, TREND Control Systems and IES visit us to deliver guest lectures, providing ideal opportunities for you to discuss employment prospects. Several of our industrial partners, such as Mitsubishi, Hilson Moran, and Vexo International also offer work placements for students to undertake their research dissertations.

    Previous students have gone on to work for leading consulting engineering companies such as Arup, Atkins, Cundall, Foster & Partners, Hoare Lea, and Pick Everard.

    The Net Zero Building Services Engineering MSc at Loughborough delivers high-quality graduates with good knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems performance and design. The programme covers the latest technologies in digital twins and zero-energy, and the latest research is embedded in teaching modules. We particularly support research dissertation projects in HVAC pipework performance, and we have recently sponsored two graduates to study for a PhD and develop digital technologies and visualisation in HVAC. We will also be awarding a scholarship to one lucky student in October.
