To provide the national and international medical schools with highly qualified professionals in the fields of anatomy, histology and embryology. To maintain an advanced scientific research in the area of basic sciences through thesis tracks.
Mission statements of the program:
Basic message is to prepare qualified students majoring in anatomy according to high international standards and scientific quality throughout their lives.
Program Aims:
1. Raise the level of education in the fields of anatomy and histology within the graduate’s students from medicine, dentistry. The acceptance of a number of students of medicine or dentistry in the master's program is with no doubt raise the scientific level after studying various courses in anatomy and histology.
2. Renovation and completion of higher education programs at the Faculty of Medicine / University of Jordan, since there are Master programs in the field of toxicology and community medicine at the College of Medicine in Clinical Sciences and as for basic science is no doubt that Master program in anatomy and histology considered complementary to other programs offered by the Faculty of Medicine / University of Jordan.
3. Raise the level of scientific research, including a master's program plan for the preparation of a research project by six credit hours in various topics in anatomy ,histology ,embryology and neurology which will have a significant impact on raising the level and enrich the research outcome in that area, especially since the development of such programs requires the exchange of experiences and information between the various research centers in the world and the University of Jordan, which will have a positive impact in the recent addition of new dimensions for scientific research at the University of Jordan.
