The Master of Applied Finance with a double specialisation in investing and financial technology is for students who are interested in focusing on modern technological developments in the financial sector.
This degree will allow you to integrate technical, theoretical and industry knowledge on the operation and organisation of, and participation in, local and international finance.
The investing specialisation focuses on investment and portfolio management, while the financial technology specialisation focuses on the impact of technology on the banking and the global payments systems, the insurance industry, and trading in financial markets.
Domestic students have the option to study on campus or via distance delivery mode. Distance refers to learning activities that do not require you to attend campus, but instead allow you to join pre-scheduled virtual classes.

Fee subsidised places available
UOW is offering Commonwealth supported places (CSPs) for all of our postgraduate coursework degrees in 2025. This means the Australian government will subsidise your tuition fees by up to 75%.
