    Overview

    The Master of Energy Systems is for students who have completed a degree in engineering, science, business, finance or economics, and are looking to start a career in, or make a change to the energy sector.

    Entry Requirements

    Admission criteria

    To be considered for entry into this course, you must have:

    • An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, including:
      • at least 12.5 points (one subject) of mathematics, statistics, or another quantitative subject at an appropriate level, and
      • A Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 70% (or equivalent).
    • An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, including:
      • at least 12.5 points (one subject) of mathematics, statistics, or another quantitative subject at an appropriate level, and
      • A WAM of at least 65% (or equivalent), and
      • At least two years of continuous documented work experience in a relevant field (or equivalent).

    Disciplines relevant to this course include commerce, science and engineering.

    All applicants to this course will also be required to submit a curriculum vitae (CV).

    Meeting the published entry requirements for this course does not guarantee selection.

    Where our admission criteria includes a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) and/or specific subject criteria, these are based on University of Melbourne grades and subjects. If you've studied elsewhere, we'll assess your relevant prior studies and equivalent grades. Your final WAM may be adjusted depending on your previous institution's accreditation, subject grading, and pass marks.
