    Overview

    The Master of Human Resource Management degree focuses on a diverse global workforce. You will develop critical awareness of the legal, ethical, social, economic and environmental challenges and implications of HR strategy, operations, processes and decision making.

    What you will learn

    Examine human resource management issues in the context of global changes impacting on people in workplaces.

    You will understand the application of HR practice within small and medium enterprises, including start-ups and entrepreneurial firms, and the public and not for profit sectors as well as multinational corporations.

    This degree meets the needs of people with no previous formal HR qualifications who wish to enter the HR profession, as well as people with extensive experience who wish to update their knowledge of contemporary global thinking.

    Entry Requirements

    2 year duration

    You must have successfully completed an Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) or higher level qualification in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.

    1.5 year duration

    You must have successfully completed:

    • An Australian Bachelor degree, (or equivalent overseas qualification) or higher level qualification in a business (or related) discipline from a recognised tertiary institution*.

      OR
    • The RMIT Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management^.

    *Qualification must have been completed within the last 10 years.

    ^Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate you will have the opportunity to progress to the Master degree.

    There are no prerequisite subjects required for entry into this qualification.

    A selection task is not required for entry into this qualification.
