    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    A completed bachelor's degree in any discipline with a credit or higher average.

    Domestic applicants
    Applications from domestic applicants will be accepted on a yearly basis from 1 August of the preceding year and close on 30 June of the commencing year. Applicants who are eligible for an offer will be placed on a waitlist and offers will be released in rounds on the first business day of each month commencing in November of the preceding year. Any applicant who is not successful in the round, will remain on a waitlist for further rounds while vacancies exist.

    Limited Commonwealth-supported places (CSPs) are available for this course and will be awarded on academic merit. To be considered for a CSP, please submit your application by 30 April 2025. Eligible applicants will be notified from 15 May 2025. The University will continue to issue fee-paying (FEE) offers until this date, offers for any eligible CSP applicants will be updated accordingly.

    International applicants
    Applications from international applicants will be accepted on a yearly basis from 1 August of the preceding year and close on 31 March of the commencing year. Applicants who are eligible for an offer will be placed on a waitlist and offers will be released in rounds on the first business day of each month commencing in September of the preceding year. Any applicant who is not successful in the round, will remain on a waitlist for further rounds while vacancies exist.

    Offers will clearly indicate a deadline by which applicants must accept. If the offer is not accepted by this date, it will be rescinded. Offers for this course cannot be deferred. This course has limited places available. Not all applicants who meet the application deadline and requirements may be successful.

    English Program Requirements

    There are non-standard English language requirements for this course. To be eligible you must have an overall IELTS Academic score (or equivalent) of 7.0 with no band score less than 7.0.

    UC Master of Occupational Therapy students will graduate into an industry that is expected to experience enormous and continuous growth as the aging population of Australia and the rest of the world continues to grow.

    As a result, there is expected to be a high demand for those with a master’s in Occupational Therapy to help guide research and policy practices in a variety of areas, including aged care, disability services, paediatric services, as well as many other community-based support services.
