    The world is racing towards a future that is powered solely by renewable energy. With Queensland's plan for 80 percent renewable power by 2035, and an extra $4 billion invested into the state's energy, now is an exciting and important time to upskill in your technical skills and knowledge in renewable power.

    The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Renewable Energy allows you to complete your foundational engineering degree and progress straight onto your master degree to gain advanced technical skills and knowledge in renewable energy system design and performance, energy storage, energy efficient transport and carbon neutral strategies.

    Once your master degree is underway, you’ll have direct access to our Banyo Pilot Plant Precinct, our state-of-the-art research facility for large-scale power grid testing, solar applications, high-voltage and high-current testing. Beyond large-scale power capabilities, our facilities provide many opportunities to collaborate with industry.

    You will work alongside industry consultants and academic experts who are leaders in renewable energy system design and performance, energy storage, energy efficient transport, smart cities, climate change risk assessments, and carbon neutral strategies.

    We accept English language proficiency scores from the following tests undertaken in a secure test centre. Tests must be taken no more than 2 years prior to the QUT course commencement.
