    Producing media content is an exciting up-to-the-minute form of social communication strongly influenced by cultural economic and political factors. To create innovative effective communications across a range of platforms you must be able to combine media theory with practical production skills.

    This broad-based course focuses on the production process while giving you the theoretical grounding you need. So you study practical units such as digital design making sound and images film-making and experimental production combined with units ensuring your understanding of media theory and research digital cultures and future digital production.

    2 A level passes (minimum C and D)

    International Baccalaureate (24 points)

    A recognised Foundation degree

    To apply for a place on an undergraduate course (BA/BSc) you need to have completed your high school education (12 years) and have a pass equivalent to two UK A level passes and have the required English language qualification.

    • A completed application form signed by you (an electronic signature is fine)
    • Copies of your official academic qualifications and certificates including proof of your level of English Language (where relevant)
    • A one-page personal statement. This should tell us why you want to study your chosen course.
    • A copy of your current valid passport details
    • Please submit copies of any UK Visa that you have held and any documentation relating to previous visa refusals from any country
