Course Overview

As a professional working in operations, supply chain, and logistics management, you’re pivotal to the success of your organsiation. Our one-year MSc in Supply Chain Operations and Logistics Management course will train you to become an industrial problem-solver, ensuring you know how to deliver efficient, effective, on-time, and budget-conscious products and services.

This dynamic Master's programme emphasises advanced supply chain and logistics strategies, preparing you to tackle contemporary and emerging industry challenges. It’s ideal for those with a background in supply chain, logistics, or operations management, as well those with degrees in IT, engineering, finance, or general management. You’ll master the integration of human power, material resources, and financial investment to bring products and services to market. You’ll learn how to anticipate and solve problems, and how to create order in complex situations.

This course covers essential areas such as inventories, materials management, procurement, transportation, warehousing, sustainable supply chains, and logistics operations. You'll also delve into innovations in technology management and circular supply chains, gaining practical skills and knowledge in simulations of supply chain operations. Our vibrant curriculum is designed to keep you at the forefront of industry advancements.

Degree classification

UK Bachelors degree - 2.2 or equivalent

Degree Subject

Business, Management, IT or Engineering.

English Foreign Language

Applications from students whose first language is not English are welcome. We require evidence of proficiency in English (including writing, speaking, listening and reading): 

• IELTS:  6.0 overall (minimum  6.0  in Writing and Speaking, and 5.5 in Reading and Listening) 

We also accept a number of other English language tests. Review our English Language Equivalencies for a list of example qualifications that we may accept to meet this requirement.

Test dates should be within two years of the course start date.

 If you do not meet the English language requirements for this course, INTO UEA offer a variety of English language programmes which are designed to help you develop the required English skills.

You’ll be ready to launch a career working in a logistics company, or as a supply chain, logistics or operations specialist within a business. You could also work in organisations as an operations manager, inventory or materials manager, warehouse professional, freight forwarding professional, enterprise resource planning specialist, and supply chain/logistics analyst.

Your skills will be highly sought after in both manufacturing and services organisations, and in the private, public and third sectors.

Alternatively, you could go on to further study, for example, a PhD, potentially undertaking research that could benefit entire industries.
