Overview EducationThe professional nurse is increasingly being viewed as the nucleus of the health care system, as well as serving as an advocate for health care consumers. Therefore, Nursing - Accelerated Option program from Wright State University prepares self-directed graduates who can function as generalists in a number of settings and work in collaboration with other health professionals to coordinate and improve the health care of individuals, families, and communities.The nursing program at Wright State is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing.The College of Nursing and Health faculty reserves the right to revise the nursing requirements or the sequence at any time, as deemed necessary to prepare students for new and emerging roles in nursing.
