    As part of this course, you'll:

    • Develop your knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum
    • Ensure your teaching fulfils the requirements set out by the government
    • Embrace areas of learning and principles of best practice in early primary education across all subjects
    • Focus on developing your skill in teaching mathematics, English and science at both key stages
    • Put your theoretical knowledge into practice by completing three teaching placements in the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1
    • Develop your teaching skills across different age ranges to help prepare for future employment
    • Learn how to develop children's abilities through playful learning and creative teaching
    • Reflect on how teaching methods and opportunities and environments can influence outcomes

    *Both routes lead to a PGCE with 60 master's credits on successful completion. There will be three assignments across the year, each leading to 20 master's level credits.

    Grade: 2.5 GPA for 2:2 equivalent
