    Project Management Consultancy (Associate Project Manager Higher Apprenticeship)

    About

    You will study a core curriculum that focuses on how organisations function and the role of the associate project manager within an organisation.

    There are two distinct components to the degree apprenticeship - the academic degree programme and the work-based assessment. The University - as lead provider - is responsible for delivering the degree programme. The employer is responsible for delivering the work-based assessment components. The University and employer work closely with each other to:

    Assure that knowledge you gain on the degree is successfully applied in the workplace

    To ensure that the standards and practices required to meet the professional competencies contained in the apprenticeship standard are adequately evidenced by you

  • Develop the project management skills required for success within a business
  • Have the opportunity to gain the APM PMQ professional qualification
  • Gain a Higher Education Certificate in Project Management
  • Complete a level 4 apprenticeship which gives entry to the University of Salford degree in management
  • • Benefit from apprenticeship funding via your employer and/or the Government
  • Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    Applicants who have successfully passed a diploma from a community college, intermediate diploma or associate degree with an overall mark of C+ or better will be considered for undergraduate entry.

    English Program Requirements

    Equivalent qualifications

    English language requirements are shown on individual course pages. Generally, this is shown as an IELTS grade, however we accept a range of equivalent qualifications. 

    As a general guide:

    For undergraduate courses we require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent

    For postgraduate courses, we require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent

    For the International Foundation Year, we require IELTS 4.5 (with a minimum 4.0 in each component) in UKVI IELTS for UKVI (Academic)

    The approved equivalent qualifications list includes the following: 

    Secure English Language Tests (SELTs) 

    University of Salford English language courses

    Regional-based qualifications

    Majority English Speaking Countries as deemed by UKVI

    Medium of English Institutions

    Applicants who require a Student Route visa to study in the UK may require evidence of a Secure English Language test rather than an examination or qualification due to visa requirements, as deemed by the UK Government Home Office, Visa and Immigration (UKVI).
