    About

    This online certificate for faculty and instructors in the health sciences will reinforce concepts and guiding principles of inclusivity, Indigenization, and reflective practice. The certificate will focus on instructional teaching methods, effective student assessment, and applying best and promising practices in effective inter- and intraprofessional teams and collaborations in their local contexts.

    The certificate program consists of 12 credit units.

    Students may also ladder this credential into an online M.Ed. in Health Professions Education.

    Admission requirements

    Graduate Certificate (G.Cert.)

    • A four-year degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university
    • A cumulative weighted average of at least 65% (USask grade system equivalent) in the last two years of study (i.e. 60 credit units)
    • Language proficiency requirements: Proof of English language proficiency may be required for international applicants and for applicants whose first language is not English
    • Teaching responsibilities and/or the ability to demonstrate teaching experience
