Overview Learning outcomesCandidates completing the Reading degree at University of Central Oklahoma requirements will be eligible to apply for PreK-12 Certification as a Reading Specialist, as outlined by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. A graduate curriculum in Reading uses multiple educational settings to prepare students for positions as reading consultants, reading teachers in public and private education, remedial reading teachers, reading clinicians, directors of reading programs, reading supervisors, reading diagnosticians, reading coaches, reading interventionists, and reading coordinators.
