    About

The Minor Concentration in Religion and Globalization offers you a comparative and historical exploration of religions across the world. You’ll explore how religions are shaping — and are shaped by — the social, political, and economic dynamics of globalization, modernization, secularization, and postcolonialism.

Choose from a range of classes according to your interests. Explore the links between religion and the performing arts, cinema or poetry. You can also study the intersection of religion and different subjects like gender, sexuality, human rights or politics.
