Risk and Safety Management Professional Degree Apprenticeship (Risk and Safety Leadership)

You'll typically go to university in 3-day blocks (Tuesday to Thursday) 6 times a year, to attend lectures and workshops. On the weeks you don't go to university, you'll still spend 20% of your time studying or training away from your normal working environment.

For entry to our postgraduate Master's programmes, you'll usually need to have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised Higher Education institution. Exact requirements will depend on the course you are applying for, but as a guide, you will need a GPA above 2.6 / 65%.

Many of our other postgraduate courses will ask for relevant work experience, and some will require you to have studied relevant subjects. Please see our courses for more details.

If you don't meet the postgraduate entry requirements, you can do a pre-Master's programme at International College Portsmouth (ICP) for many of our courses.

What you'll need to send us

When you apply to join us, we'll need to see the following documents:

• A completed application form – there's a link to the form you'll need in the 'apply' section at the bottom of every course page
• A Personal Statement or Statement of Purpose explaining why you want to study this course and why you have chosen our University. Some personal statements need specific information, so check your course page for full details.
• Officially certified and translated copies of your high school or college qualification and grades (for undergraduate courses)
• Officially certified and translated copies of your degree qualification and grades (for Postgraduate courses)
• Proof of your English language level (such as an IELTS Certificate)
• One academic reference on official headed paper for undergraduate courses or two references for postgraduate courses
• Please note that we require video credibility interviews for applicants from certain countries. Our regional leads will be in contact to coordinate this with the applicant directly.
