Our BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching course has been specifically curated for future coaches, teachers and sports educators. This specialist programme means that you will attain the skills, knowledge and understanding that may not be taught in a general sports degree.
Successful coaches have to be driven and constantly looking to improve; as part of your ongoing development, you will earn to build a network around you that will support you at every step of your journey to becoming a high-performing coach.
Expect to be taught by academics who have been there and done it at a national, international and world athlete. Utilise their expertise to learn how to inspire elite athletes, communities and young people through the power of sport.
We appreciate the demands of combining study and soccer development so, where possible, we ensure our student-athletes benefit from maximised time in both the classroom and on the pitch. Timetabling is done in such a manner that means academic study will typically be taught in the morning with soccer activities taking place in the afternoon.
