About the course
This degrees clear focus on developing your coaching skills will transform your approach and practice ensuring you are well placed to take on a key role in initiatives such as Uniting the Movement Sport England's 10-year plan to transform lives and communities through sport and physical activity.
Throughout the course you build your skills working on real-life sports-development projects; learning from industry-specific guest speakers; and gaining work experience through our partnerships with organisations including Luton Town FC Bedford Blues Foundation and Active Luton as well as schools and colleges.
You also develop your interpersonal skills and explore challenging aspects of coaching such as tackling social inequalities connecting with communities and creating positive sporting experiences for all with the long-term aim of encouraging lifelong involvement in physical activity.
