    About

    SLAT's Certificate in Technology in Second Language Teaching focuses on providing students with the knowledge about language-learning technologies and the skills on how to effectively integrate and use them to enhance and support second language teaching and learning. At completion, students will:

    • Demonstrate the knowledge of various current and emerging technologies available to enhance and support language teaching and learning and the skills to use them in the second language classroom;
    • Demonstrate the ability to critically evaluate various approaches to technology-enhanced language teaching and learning on the basis of theories and research in the SLA field;
    • Demonstrate the know-how to create technology-enhanced lessons for the second language classroom.

    • International applicants to the Main campus must currently hold a US visa that permits incidental study.
