URBAN DESIGN

Introduction;

Urban Design Master's program in urban design scale, human scale, all scales up to and surrounding urban space, according to the principles of sustainable ecological design gives training to improve the qualitative and quantitative aspects.

Education Program, Education and Lesson Plan period;

Istanbul Aydin University, Institute of Science and Master of Urban Design (thesis) students who have graduated from the program cational holds an undergraduate degree in the field of urban design. Normal time to complete this program is three semesters, the student's academic workload and lesson plan 90 TEACHING PLAN at least 30 local credits consist of a minimum of 10 courses and a term project. The program is open to applications from outside the area, the course load of students coming from outside, they are taken before training, taking into account the recommendation of the head of the department and the institute can be upgraded with the decision of the board of directors.

Terms of Reference;

Master of Urban Design (thesis) program in order to register Istanbul Aydin University, Institute of Science Education Regulations conditions must be fulfilled.

Master of Urban Design (thesis) program is an interdisciplinary program. Master of Urban Design Program, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning departments will be students who have graduated from a degree program. These disciplines outside the program, which refer, Civil and Environmental Engineering Bachelor of Architecture program, History and Theory of Architecture III and MIM MIM 301 352 Settlement Planning and Design course to take two to complete and required to be successful in this course.

1. Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
2. Turkish translation of Undergraduate diploma and transcript
3. Notarization of translated Undergraduate diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
4. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs.  Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)

1. Passport photograph
2. Undergraduate diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
3. Undergraduate transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
4. Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
5. A cumulative GPA of 2,5 (on a 4,0) or equivalent
6. For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -66 points (If English is not the   first/      official language of the country). If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr .

9. If you do not know Turkish then Apply for Turkish Language Program first at tomer.aydin.edu.tr, as without having Turkish Language visa students will not be registered to TÖMER.
