Adult-Gero Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

UC's Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner online program prepares students to care for patients 13 and older from wellness to illness, which includes preventative, chronic and acute care with an emphasis on education, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation.

For our graduate programs, we welcome applications from students who hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) from a college or university accredited by a regional or general accrediting agency, and have at least a B average in undergraduate course work (or otherwise give evidence of promise that is judged satisfactory by the admitting program).

Adult-Gero Primary Care NPs work in a variety of community-based primary care settings, including clinics focused on a specialty – such as cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, etc.– hospital outpatient clinics, private practices and long-term care facilities.
