    You will learn how international litigation and alternative dispute resolution can be managed strategically and effectively.

    We deliver a practice-focused understanding of a range of forms of dispute resolution. This has increasing value in commercial and non-commercial practice.

    Your learning will cover rules of litigation, ADR, arbitration and mediation, within the frameworks of procedure, evidence and ethics. You will be able to design your own learning by selecting modules to suit your interests and professional goals, from a wide selection including International Commercial Arbitration, Litigation and Dispute Resolution Options, Money Laundering and International Arbitration in Practice.

    We give you expert guidance and academic support throughout the degree, enabling you to clearly focus on your career ambitions.

    This course is designed to maximise flexibility. You can study full-time or part-time and there are course start dates in September and January.

    The course is delivered using a hybrid model of delivery enabling students to either attend in person on campus or online via Teams, with all students being able to interact and participate in the class regardless of their mode of attendance. Classes are recorded and supported by extensive online materials so it is also possible to follow the course asynchronously.

    Saudi Arabian Bachelor degrees are typically accepted with GPA 3.2 out of 4.0 or GPA 4.0 out of 5.0 equivalent to a UK 2:1 (second-class upper) Honours Bachelor degree and GPA 2.4 out of 4.0 or GPA 3.0 out of 5.0 equivalent to a UK 2:2 (second-class lower) Honours Bachelor degree.

    Visa requirements

    English Program Requirements

    If you are an applicant whose first language is not English and you have not successfully completed an academic qualification at least equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree which was taught in a majority English-speaking country as defined by UK Visas and Immigration, the following qualifications (or equivalent) are also required:

    • IELTS: 7.0 or above with minimum of 6 in each area
    • For the LLM we require an overall TOEFL score of 100 or better, with a minimum of 25 in Speaking, and at least 24 in every other component of the test
