The purpose of the BA (Hons) Business Management Graduate Apprenticeship is to create well-rounded and knowledgeable managers of the future. By the time of completion, you will be able to demonstrate deep knowledge in a wide range of business and management subjects including strategy, leadership, risk management, business law, marketing, finance, brand management, project management, innovation, and business ethics. Each subject benefits from a combined academic and work-based perspective where you will be expected and encouraged to enhance your reflective practice skills and personal and professional development knowledge. Your application of learning to work experience on a real-time basis will create benefits for you and your employer.
Glasgow Caledonian University's common good principles and values are embedded in GCU's Business Management curriculum. You will gain an understanding of the complexities of the global business environment and develop skills on how to manage them, including consideration of the intercultural issues relating to management.
From a human capital and talent management perspective, employers can increase their skills pipeline within the business. An employer may either upskill current employees and/or recruit new talent into the business and support them through the Graduate Apprenticeship course.
All Apprenticeships are fully-funded by the Scottish Funding Council. Applicants will also need to complete a SAAS Graduate Apprenticeship application form. The course team will review the skills, knowledge, academic qualifications and experience of all applicants, which will all be used to inform the level of the apprenticeship candidates will begin their education.
