    This program will ensure graduates gain the core knowledge and skills required to become successful practising WHS professionals. Your ability to deliver best practice WHS in contemporary workplace will be enhanced.

    The Graduate Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety develops your knowledge and skills in four key areas.

    Key areas of study include:

    • Workplace Health and Safety Law
    • Workplace Safety
    • Occupational Hygiene and Toxicology
    • Risk Management.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    Entry to the GCWHS will be available to applicants who have:

    • A Diploma in OHS of 1 year duration or equivalent, plus 2 years (full time equivalent) relevant work experience; or
    • An Advanced Diploma in OHS or equivalent qualification, plus 1 year (full time equivalent) relevant work experience; or
    • A Bachelor degree or higher; or
    • 3 years full time equivalent significant work experience in WHS.

    Work experience is evidenced by a CV and Statements of Service. Applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

    English Program Requirements

    Overall minimum: 6.5

    Sub test minimum: 6
