    The Curriculum and Instruction/Mathematics Teaching Methods program is one of the main programs leading in the Curriculum and Instruction Department, which is widely accepted by students who have completed a bachelor's degree in mathematics and actuarial sciences and mathematics teachers. It is one of the specializations that is widely accepted by those interested in the educational sector, as it addresses contemporary global educational trends that are concerned with developing mathematics learning and teaching, and works to provide opportunities for specialists in mathematics teaching methods to possess international standards such as: NCTM and 21st century skills. Twenty-first, and this program attracts many students wishing to study from neighboring Arab countries, as it discusses new trends in mathematics education: analysis and evaluation of mathematics curricula, planning mathematics curricula, methods of teaching and learning mathematics, and the beliefs, perceptions and attitudes of mathematics teachers towards teaching and learning mathematics, in addition to many other topics. This program presented many studies and research that addressed the elements of school and university mathematics curricula, and addressed many educational problems related to mathematics curricula at the local and Arab levels, and had a distinguished presence in the progress of the college and university at the level of teaching, research and service to the local and Arab community. Its contributions continue to increase through the services it provides in the fields of research and consultations in preparing, qualifying and training teachers, developing school curricula, and improving the processes of teaching and learning mathematics.

    Providing specialized scientific knowledge in school mathematics curricula and books, preparing qualified educational cadres capable of practicing leadership and creativity in learning and teaching environments, keeping pace with educational developments in methods of teaching, learning and teaching mathematics, facing challenges and making curricular decisions in a manner consistent with the mission of the university and college and serving the needs of educational institutions at all levels.
    Program Objectives
    1. Preparing mathematics teachers to perform their roles with high efficiency and integrate technology into their teaching.
    2. Preparing and developing mathematics curricula planners to plan mathematics curricula that are in line with developments Modern theories
    3. Contributing to the development of the educational process in line with the requirements of the twenty-first century.
    4. Enhancing the ability of those enrolled in the program to keep pace with educational developments in the field of employing technology in teaching mathematics.
    5. Developing the self-skills of those enrolled in the program to find solutions to the problems of teaching and learning mathematics, and developing its school curricula.
    6. Strengthening partnership with educational institutions and departments similar to the department locally, regionally and internationally in mathematics education.
    7. Transferring scientific research in the department to the world to keep pace with modern developments in teacher training and providing them with research competencies in mathematics curricula and their development.

    Admission Requirements for the Program
    General Requirements:
    First Priority: Bachelor of Mathematics, Bachelor of Actuarial Science.
    Second Priority: Bachelor of Mathematics Teacher.
    Special Requirements: None
    Success in the TOEFL exam.
