About the program and its main topics
The Master's program in Educational Psychology/Measurement and Evaluation was established with the establishment of the Department of Educational Psychology in the academic year 1987/1988. The program's study plan consists of (33) credit hours for both the thesis and comprehensive exam tracks. The program's compulsory and optional study materials are distributed over three cognitive fields as follows: First: Psychological and educational measurement and evaluation, which includes the following materials: Theory in test development, Measuring values, tendencies and trends, classroom assessment, child development assessment, personality measurement, individual assessment methods.Second: Research methods and statistical methods, including the following subjects: Research design and methods, analytical statistics, computer uses in data analysis. Third: Educational psychology (growth, learning, childhood), including the following subjects: growth theories and their applications, educational psychology, learning and teaching theories, childhood psychology, teaching thinking.

Program Message
Preparing human cadres who are proactive, scientifically capable, and practically skilled in psychological and educational measurement and evaluation and are able to compete in the local, regional, and international labor market in the field of leading evaluation work and providing testing, measurement, and diagnostic services, writing evaluation reports, and providing specialized research, training, and consulting services to various community institutions and individuals in a way that helps confront challenges, solve psychological and educational problems, and achieve community service and keep pace with development Cognitive.

Qualifying students to build and test psychological and educational measurement and evaluation tools and build their own standards, standardizing foreign psychological and educational measurement and evaluation tools for the Jordanian environment, and choosing appropriate psychological and educational measurement and evaluation tools, applying them, interpreting their results, and writing reports on them.
