    Accelerate improvement and recovery in the care of injured patients.

    There is an increasing demand for trauma specialised health care professionals. This program has been designed to produce graduates who meet this demand. Aimed at medical practitioners, nurses, allied health professionals, and pre-hospital paramedics wanting to take the next step in their career. This program will equip you with specialised practical skills to care for injured patients.

    This program may be recognised as continuing professional development through the Medical Board of Australia.

    Graduate with the skills to manage trauma patients and to understand the function of trauma systems.

    Learn from leading clinicians and researchers, including Professor Zsolt Balogh—Director of one of Australia’s busiest trauma units and a multiple-time Research Magazine Field Leader in Emergency Medicine (2020, 2021, 2026).

    The Master of Traumatology is supported by leading trauma associations, including the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
