    About

    Our Regenerative Medicine & Innovation Technology Intercalated BSc offers you the opportunity to study the fascinating and rapidly growing interdisciplinary field of regenerative medicine, which focuses on the repair, replacement or regeneration of tissues and organs. We combine this with a study of how interactions with microbial communities impact human diseases, which will teach you the concepts behind personalised medicine. Please note the below application deadlines: - 26 January 2022 (King's applicants) - 2 March 2022 (External applicants)Regenerative medicine is at the forefront of the new wave of modern treatments, including personalised medicine. Its applications are being increasingly used in a variety of medical and dental fields in a variety of ways, from use of stem cells and novel biomaterials in treating physical injuries and conditions, to the use of microbiome modulation in treating chronic infections and inflammatory diseases. This iBSc will prepare medical school graduates to understand and take full advantage of these new approaches to diagnosis and treatment currently being developed and expanded within the NHS. The programme prepares students for pathways leading to consultant positions in dental and medical fields, as well as providing a foundation for exploitation through a higher research degree.

    Entry Requirements

    Certificate of General Secondary Education will not be considered for direct entry - study our International Foundation Programme instead. Please note: students completing King's International Foundation programme will not be able to progress onto our Dentistry programmes.
