Three-Plus-Two Computer Science & Electrical or Computer Engineering Program

    About

    Joint Program

A 3+2 program offers you the opportunity to double major – earn a degree in a science major from UNCW in approximately three years and an engineering degree at NC State in the final two years of study. You will complete the NC State engineering transfer admission requirements while completing your UNCW major and University Studies requirements.

    Dual Campus Experience

Live the full UNCW experience while completing most of the major requirements for the Computer Science degree in your first three years. You have the option to take 1-2 NC State engineering courses live in our state of the art videoconference classroom on UNCW's beautiful coastal campus. On-site faculty and staff will be available to support and facilitate your learning in the NC State engineering courses. Upon successful transfer admission to NC State, you will take all upper-level engineering courses in Raleigh. Select engineering courses will transfer back to UNCW to fulfill a portion of the Computer Science degree.
